This is an old argument against solar power, that the power used to create a solar cell is more than the power it will ever create. However, in the case of the Current Wear Solar Light Cap, we have selected one of the most efficient manufacturing methods - a roll-to-roll process that dramatically reduces power usage during its creation.
Furthermore, we have estimated all the energy needed to manufacture and transport the entire product including the nuclear or coal fueled electricity in the factories and the gas used to transport our shipments. We calculate, that by turning off your home lighting while you read our instruction manual ( and using the Current Wear SLC to read it of course!) , you will have recovered the carbon dioxide output during production and shipment.
